Ajit Foundation is introducing a donation refund policy to ensure fairness and transparency in processing refund requests, especially as digital payments become more common. While we expect donors to exercise care during donations, we understand that donations may sometimes be made in error or that donors may change their minds. Additionally, refunds may be necessary to comply with the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA Act).

We will review each refund request and may ask for additional information. However, Ajit Foundation is not obligated to process refunds and may refuse requests, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.

To request a refund, you must contact us in writing or by email within 7 working days of making the donation. For foreign donations, additional processing time may be required. Your request must include the donation date, amount, receipt ID, and transaction reference number.

Refund decisions will be made by our finance team, and their decision is final. The refund process may take 7 to 30 working days, depending on third-party processing times (such as payment gateways or banks).
